Top 5 Sandals Royal Bahamian Excursions

Eleuthera Pink Sands Experience and Swimming Pigs
One of the most popular tourist attractions in the Bahamas is the swimming pigs. At first they were places on an island by farmers, but a few years ago they became extremely popular and more pig islands started poping up.
In this experience you will make your way to the pig island where you can feed, swim, and take photos with the pigs in the crystal-clear Bahamian waters. After having a good time with the pigs, you will visit the Harbour of Spanish Wells, a quaint fishing village and enjoy a local lunch. Before returning to the resort, you will also get to snorkel with Green Turtle.
Exuma Full Day Swimming Pigs Powerboat Adventure
With a powerboat as your transportation you can experience a variety of attractions in one day. Start with a visit to Norman’s Cay where you can see Pable Escobar’s Sunken Drug Plane. After that you’ll visit Allen Cay where you’ll find the Rock Iguana’s only found in the Exuma Cays.
The next stop is Compass Cay where you can swim with the islands’ nurse sharks. After this comes the main event, visiting Big Major Cay to feed and swim with the pigs! After this you’ll enjoy a Bahamian meal and going to one of Exuma’s prestine beaches before making your way back to the resort.
Bites of Nassau Food Tasting & Cultural Walking Tour
This tour is a perfect way to experience the culture of the Bahamas, learn the history and enjoy some authentic Bahamian dishes from award-winning chefs and local artisans. You will enjoy soul-warming Bahamian classics and savor local jams, salts, island ‘bush’ teas, and hand-made truffles. Between tastings, you’ll get to explore Nassau’s bustling, historic downtown.
Baha Bay Waterpark and Beach Break
Located about 5 minutes from Sandals Royal Bahamian is the Baha Bay Waterpark. With a day pass to the resort you can experience over 30 attractions and a vast beachfront. You’ll find infinity pools to relax at overlooking the beautiful beach with ample lounge seating and intimate private cabanas, at an additional cost.
For the young at heart, you can enjoy thrilling water slides or a more relaxing ride along the lazy river. Top off your day with an exclusive open-air, one-of-a-kind, secluded gaming casino pavilion on the beachfront; however you like to play in the sun, you can do so at Baha Bay.
The Rose Island Catamaran & Pig Interaction
If you do not want to make it all the way to Exumas to check out the swimming pigs, you can go to the nearby Rose Island for an “Interaction”. Instead of an all day trip you can enjoy a 4 hour Catamaran. You’ll cruise out of the Nassau Harbor where you will have the opportunity to see a number of historical landmarks, celebrity homes and luxury yachts.
Spend the day at a tranquil beach where you can sink your toes in the powdery sand, go for a stroll or do something even more exciting – interact with the friendly pigs that are native to this locale! Don your snorkeling gear and explore the turquoise waters before you bite into a flavorful lunch, at a beachside restaurant. The day comes to an end with a rewarding cruise, as you unwind and reminisce on a day well spent.
