When you are staying at any of the three Sandals Resorts in Saint Lucia, there are several fun excursions to choose from. The most popular Sandals St. Lucia excursions the boat rides that go to the Volcanic mud baths and other stops, depending on the excursions. Other excursions include a Jeep safari, ATV tours, the Rainforest Canopy Adventure ziplining, and the ambitious Volcano hike.
Here are a few of our favorite excursions to do when staying at a Sandals Resort in Saint Lucia.

Current Deals at Sandals
Before we get started on our list of best Sandals Resorts, we know price makes a difference for everyone. We recommend checking for the latest deals and specials when considering which resort you will book. For example, there may be a better deal at Sandals Royal Barbados with Sandals Barbados right next door or there might be a 777 deal available.
Ferry From The Airport
I recommend starting your trip off with an excursion. Instead of driving 90 minutes of windy roads take the ferry! From the airport, you will be picked up and driven to the dock where the ferry will be waiting.
The ferry includes assigned seats, drinks, and snacks during the trip. The water varies from calm to a little bit wavy. During our ferry ride we saw the beautiful coast including the Pitons. We were lucky and were even escorted by dolphins along the way. It made for an amazing way to start our vacation and we highly recommend it.

Helicopter From the Airport
Another great option for transportation to or from the airport is by helicopter. The ride is fast and fun to see the island with a birds eye view. We took the helicopter transfer on the way back to the airport and it took about 12 minutes.
Snorkeling & Scuba Diving
Included in the stay of any Sandals Resort is scuba diving and snorkeling. Each day there is a snorkeling trip and scuba diving trip you can go on included in the price. Take advantage of this to see a variety of fish and marine life. On the scuba trips you may even go far enough down the coast to see the Pitons.
Gros Piton Hike from Castries
For the very adventurous guests you can hike Gros Pitos. The hike takes you to the top of the iconic Gros Piton, one of the twin volcanic mountains that dominate the island’s landscape. The hike is considered moderately challenging, though it’s accessible to most people in good physical condition. It takes about 4 to 6 hours to complete, depending on your pace.
Once you reach the summit, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the island, including the Pitons, the Caribbean Sea, and St. Lucia’s lush rainforests. It’s a fantastic spot for photos.

Volcano Cruise
Each Sandals Resort has options for enjoying a trip to see the Volcano and nearby sites. The usually include a catamaran cruise or a speed boat trip. During the excursion, you’ll visit the majestic Pitons, take a bath in the Sulphur Spring at the volcano, and wash off the mud in a water fall.
Your tour may include additional stops and a meal at a local restaurant.
You can book excursions at any Sandals in St. Lucia either on the Sandals website or once you’ve arrived at the resort. If you are staying in a butler-level suite, your butler can handle that for you.
Prices for Sandals St. Lucia excursions vary depending on the activity, but tend to range from $35 to more than $300 per person.
