Sandals resorts are popular for destination weddings because they are set on beautiful Caribbean beaches, are adults only, and offer a huge array of inclusions at one price. They also have a wide variety of wedding venues, from beaches to gardens to overwater chapels and gazebos.
If you’re considering getting married at a Sandals resort, here’s all you need to know about Sandals wedding packages.
Our Certified Sandals Wedding Specialists can help make your wedding planning easy. We work directly with you, the Sandals wedding team, and your guests at no additional cost to you.
Sandals has multiple wedding packages, ranging from the free wedding offer to an extravagant celebration. Every Sandals wedding package is customizable with a variety of options, so you can create the perfect ceremony for you.
All Sandals wedding packages come with a wedding planner, to help make the process easier and less stressful.
Sandals Free Wedding Package
If you stay at least 7 nights in a club or butler-level room at any Sandals resort, you can have a free wedding for up to 10 people. This includes a 15% discount at the spa as well as credits toward photography and videography packages.
FYI, free ceremonies are limited to Monday through Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., and are only available at certain venues. For package details, see the Sweetheart Wedding Package description below.
Sandals Wedding Package Costs
The costs of each Sandals wedding package vary, from free to just under $14,000. Your wedding’s cost will depend on the package you choose, which add-ons you want, and how many guests you have. Your Sandals wedding planner can give you an estimate once you make those decisions.
Basically, you are in charge of how much you spend. Theme wedding packages range from $1000 to $13,900 depending on how many people you have, plus any upgrades you want. There is a Sandals wedding price list on their website, but you can also find a more detailed breakdown in the package descriptions below.

Sandals Wedding Packages: What’s Included
In addition to the usual inclusions for a Sandals stay, your Sandals wedding package will have a variety of options that are included in the price.
Sandals wedding packages usually include:
- A personal wedding planning team
- Bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere
- Pre-recorded music for the ceremony
- A cocktail reception
- A wedding cake
- Table settings
- Chiavari chairs
- Reception table centerpiece
- Marriage paperwork
- Some photographs
If you also honeymoon at Sandals, you get a honeymoon dinner with sparkling wine plus the complimentary Sandals honeymoon package, which includes chilled sparkling wine, turndown service with flower petals the first night, and breakfast in bed plus fresh flowers one morning.
If you return for your anniversary and stay 7 nights in a club or butler room, you get an extra night free.
Here are the current Sandals wedding packages and what they include. Note that none of them include the mandatory government fees that most islands charge. Sandals Wedding Packages: How to Choose
In order to decide which of the Sandals wedding packages is best for you, you’ll need to answer some questions. First, how many people are coming? Are you eloping, is it a small wedding, or will you have 100 guests?
Next, what sort of wedding do you want? Quiet and intimate or all the bells and whistles?
And, where do you want to get married? On the sand at twilight, in a lush garden, or perched above the Caribbean?
Once you have all that information, you can share it with your Sandals wedding planner and they will help you choose the perfect package for the wedding of your dreams.

Sandals Destination Wedding Venues
Sandals prides itself on offering unique and scenic wedding venues. Of course, each resort is set on a white-sand beach that makes the perfect backdrop for tropical weddings.
But you also have plenty of other choices. Here are the other types of wedding venues you’ll find at Sandals.

Over-the-water Chapel
Some of the most unique venues at Sandals are the over-the-water wedding chapels, which are set completely above the Caribbean and offer 360-degree ocean views. They also have glass floor inserts so you can see into the water below. These can be found at
- Sandals St. Vincent
- Sandals South Coast
- Sandals Grande St. Lucian
- Sandals Ochi
- Sandals Montego Bay
Over-the-water Gazebo
- Smaller than the overwater chapels but still lovely, the open-air overwater gazebos are also set on the water and have beautiful views. These are available at
- Sandals Montego Bay
- Sandals Royal Caribbean
- Sandals Grande St. Lucian

Oceanfront Gazebo
The open-air oceanfront gazebos are located on the resort grounds near the ocean for water views while on land. You can find these at most Sandals resorts.
Garden Gazebo
Tucked into tropical gardens, these open-air gazebos offer privacy and peace. You can find these at most Sandals resorts.

European Wedding Garden
Available only at Sandals Ochi in Jamaica and Sandals Grande Antigua, this venue features a white pergola surrounded by manicured lawns, beautiful blooms, and elegant water features.
Traditional Chapel
The secluded Intimate Chapel at Sandals Montego Bay has a more traditional feel with a vaulted ceiling, wooden pews, stained glass windows, and an elevated altar.

Sky Terrace
Located at Sandals Royal Barbados and Sandals Barbados, this elevated terrace features great views plus a rooftop pool and bar.
Golf Course
At Sandals Royal Curacao, you can say your vows overlooking the ocean from the onsite golf course.
Private Island
Located at Sandals Royal Bahamian, the private offshore island features white sand beaches plus amenities like a pool with swim-up bar.

Sandals Wedding Package Incentives
Sandals also offers incentives to help you when planning your wedding. First, the Preview Your Wedding package allows you to visit the resort you’re considering and stay up to 3 nights at a discounted rate.
This way, you can do your planning in person, including choosing a venue, meeting with your planner, and looking at menus and cake options. You’ll get up to a $1050 credit if you book your wedding there and have at least 5 rooms.
Other incentives include getting the 6th room free when you book 5 rooms, and getting a room rate discount if you book 10 rooms or more. You can also check the Sandals website for ongoing sales and deals.

Sandals Destination Wedding Locations
While all Sandals resorts are located in the Caribbean, they are on multiple different islands. You can choose from 17 different Sandals resorts: 7 in Jamaica, 3 in St. Lucia, 2 in Barbados, 1 in Antigua, 1 in St. Vincent & the Grenadines, 1 in the Bahamas, and 1 in Curacao.
