Some of our favorite suites at Sandals are the Swim up rooms they have throughout their resorts. We love being able to step out of our room and directly into the pool to relax and swim around at any time of day.
A swim-up room (also called a swim-out room) is a room that either opens directly onto a pool or has an adjoining patio that gives direct access to a pool. These can be either private pools or shared, lagoon-style pools.

At these Sandals resorts, you’ll find a variety of all-inclusive swim-up rooms and suites at a range of prices. When you go to the Sandals website you can choose the resort, then select “Rooms,” and then choose “swim-up pool” as a filter to find your options.
Sandals swim-up rooms have either ocean views or lush garden views. All feature private furnished patios that lead to the pool, and many of these have an outdoor Tranquility Soaking Tub for Two™. Inside, there are plush master beds, spa-like bathrooms, and minibars that are refreshed daily.
Butler-level swim-up suites come with personal butler service and 24-hour in-room dining, as well as private airport transfers in luxury cars. Club-level swim-up rooms and suites come with concierge service, access to a special Club lounge, and room service between 7am and 10pm.
Sandals swim-up rooms prices currently range from $407 per person per night to $962 per person per night.

Tufa Terrace Swim-up One Bedroom Butler Suite w/ Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub, Sandals Dunn’s River
I stayed in this swim-up suite the first time I went to Sandals Dunn’s River. The room is centrally located and very large including a huge bathroom with soaking up and shower. The room has a king-size bed and a day bed for lounging. Beyond having a great room it is located in one of the best Sandals Resorts.
Amante One Bedroom Oceanview Swim-up Butler Grande Suite with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub, Sandals Royal Curacao
We stayed in this room shortly after Sandals Curacao opened. We had a great time here and loved the size of the suite and location. We could hear what was going on at the main pool and go to join if we wanted. The swimup pool section is also very large so we had plenty of room to swim. I was always the only one swimming there, well lounging on a float. 🙂
Beachfront Swim-up Millionaire One Bedroom Butler Suite w/ Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub, Sandals Montego Bay
We love these swim-up suites because you are right next to the pool but also just steps away from the beach at the same time.
Millionaire Crystal Lagoon Swim-up Butler One Bedroom Suite, Sandals Royal Barbados
We stayed in a swim-up suite along the Crystal Lagoon at Royal Barbados. These rooms are scattered throughout the resort with many of them at the far end where there is plenty of seclusion. Since it is a butler suite you benefit from all the services that come with that, allowing for breakfast in bed so you don’t need to go anywhere. This was our first swim up suite at Sandals and we’ve loved it ever since.
Sundowner Swim up Beachfront One Bedroom Butler Suite, Sandals Negril
The recently completed Sundowner Swim Up Suites are a great addition to Sandals Negril. The room includes a spa like bathroom, king bed and a seating area with tv that leads you to the outdoor seating and pool. We love the location next to Blum coffee and close to the beach as well.
Italian Swim up Bi-level 1 Br. Butler Suite w/ Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub, Sandals Grenada
We loved these swim up rooms for their location on resort close to the beach and quiet pool. The room has a king bed with a step down to another level with a living room area.
Lady Palm Club Swim-up Suite with Media Room and Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub, Sandals St. Vincent
We love Sandals Saint Vincent and these rooms are the largest swim up suites we know of at Sandals. They are newly built and include the media room, tranquility soaking tub, an indoor tub and shower.
Crystal Lagoon Hideaway Swim-up Club Level Jr. Suite, Sandals Royal Caribbean
One of the most affordable swim-up suites is at Sandlas Royal Caribbean. Here you can get a swim-up suite starting at $385 per person per night. The room is set in the back of the resort so it is quiet but is not near the beach.
